HANOI, March 4 (Xinhua) -- Four people were killed on Tuesday night in a traffic accident involving two motorbikes in Vietnam's northern province of Lang Son, the Vietnam News Agency reported Wednesday.

According to initial reports, one motorbike collided with another traveling in the opposite direction, leaving four people aged between 15 and 20 dead.

Authorities have yet to identify the riders involved.

An investigation into the incident is underway.
