HANOI, Nov. 25 (Xinhua) -- The Vietnamese government on Tuesday proposed allocating nearly 125.5 trillion Vietnamese dong (about 5 billion U.S. dollars) for the 2026-2035 period to boost public health, local daily Dan Tri reported.

The proposal targets the entire population, with priority given to disadvantaged groups, ethnic minorities, border and island residents, mothers and children, older people, and people in industrial zones.

The government aims to achieve nationwide coverage of electronic health records and lifelong health management by 2030, and ensure that all local health stations fully implement non-communicable disease prevention and treatment procedures.
