Vietnamese legislators to adopt 60 laws, resolutions

HANOI, Dec. 8 (Xinhua) -- Vietnamese lawmakers will vote to adopt 60 laws and resolutions this week, the local daily Nhan Dan reported Monday.

The legislative agenda includes passing amended or new laws on taxation, population, anti-waste measures, planning, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and e-commerce.

Major resolutions set for approval this week include those on mechanisms to remove bottlenecks in the Land Law implementation and on the investment policy for Gia Binh International Airport in the northern province of Bac Ninh.

Legislators will also vote on resolutions concerning mechanisms for education reform, public health care, sustainable poverty reduction, and socio-economic development in ethnic minority-inhabited and mountainous areas for the 2026-2035 period.
