KAMPALA, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- Uganda women's national cricket team coach Deus Muhumuza has named the final squad for the inaugural 2025 ICC Women's Emerging Nations Trophy, to be held in Thailand from Nov. 18 to Dec. 1.
The T20 tournament will feature eight teams, including five with One Day International (ODI) status.
"We have been training hard for the past weeks and now we have selected the best players for the trip to Thailand. We have selected the team after several considerations including our recent five matches against Canada," said Muhumuza.

"We are determined to take every match very seriously," she added.
The participating teams include Thailand, the Netherlands, Papua New Guinea, Scotland, the United Arab Emirates, Namibia, Tanzania and Uganda.
