PHNOM PENH, March 30 (Xinhua) -- Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen said on Thursday that the kingdom would give free admission to the public for the upcoming 32nd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.

"There will be no ticket sales for both opening and closing ceremonies as well as all sports competition events during the SEA Games," he said in a voice message released publicly.

"People are free to go and watch sports competitions without paying any money," he added.

Cambodia will host the 32nd SEA Games from May 5 to 17 for the first time in 64 years.

The Games will see athletes competing in 37 sports with more than 600 events, according to the Cambodia SEA Games Organizing Committee (CAMSOC).
