PALO ALTO, California: Tesla published new pricing in recent days, with $5,000 price increases in its Model X Long Range and Model S Long Range variants.
The price for the Model X Long Range is now $104,990, while the Model S Long Range is $94,990.
Additionally, the Model Y Long Range and Model 3 Standard Range Plus rose by $2,000, to $56,990 and $43,990, according to the Tesla website.
While production in Tesla plants are expected to increase in 2022, it still might be slowed due to regulations in Germany and Texas that could delay production efforts.
In 2022, Tesla will spend "a bulk of the year working on ramping these factories" to ensure the company is prepared for worldwide demand of its autos.
Tesla has not disclosed whether the price increases are due to the extensive backlog or shortages of parts.
