HANOI, Oct. 27 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam reported three new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, bringing its total confirmed cases to 1,172 with 35 deaths from the disease so far, according to the country's Ministry of Health.
The new cases include a Vietnamese and two foreigners who have recently entered the country from abroad and were quarantined upon arrival, said the ministry.
The ministry announced that one more patient has been given all-clear on Tuesday, raising the total cured cases in the country to 1,062.
Meanwhile, nearly 14,800 people are being quarantined and monitored in the country, the ministry said.
Vietnam has gone through 55 straight days without any COVID-19 cases in the community, according to the ministry.
